Beginning in 2007, daylight saving time (DST) will be
extended in the United States and Canada (where DST is
observed). DST will start on March 11, 2007, which is
three weeks earlier than usual, and it will end on November
4, 2007, one week later than usual. This change adds four
weeks of DST to the calendar. Without adjustments, the
time on your phone’s clock and calendar appointments
may be an hour off during this four-week period.

Most Motorola phones will pick up the correct time through the service provider network – you will not have to do anything.
However, if you are using one of the following Motorola phones, and you synchronize your calendar via Microsoft Activesync or MotoSync, use the instructions provided to prepare your computer and your phone. Please take these steps before March 11 if possible, to avoid having your phone’s clock and calendar appointments reflect incorrect times.

We recommend you update your computer software prior to updating your phone software. Check these links for information on DST updates from
Microsoft
and
Apple
