  • 400MHz or higher processor speed
  • 256MB RAM or higher
  • Approximately 250MB of available hard disk space
  • Available USB port (USB 1.1 or higher)
  • Internet connectivity (Internet Explorer)
  • Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4) or Windows Vista (either 32-bit or 64-bit) (Service Pack 1)
  • For Q devices only, ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center is required prior to using Software Update
Please follow these steps below to download the Software Update
  You need the following USB cable type to perform the Software Update: Mini USB Data Cable. If you don't have a USB cable, you can purchase it here.
  Motorola Software Update provides the latest approved software for devices that are in warranty. Please note that your device's warranty status will be automatically verified prior to proceeding with an update.

Please also note that your device may already contain the latest software available for your product. Motorola Software Update will notify you if an update is available once you download the update application and connect your device.

  IMPORTANT: If you have VZ Navigator®, ChaperoneSM, or any other Location Management application enabled, you will need to change your "Location" setting from "911 ONLY" to "Location ON" after the MSU update:

        MENU > Settings & Tools > Phone Settings > Location > Location ON
