MEET DAVID BECKHAM PRIZE DRAW - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. This Prize Draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Employees of the Promoter, or of O2, their agencies, their families, or anyone professionally associated with the Prize Draw may not enter. Entries by agents or third parties will not be accepted.
  2. To enter this Prize Draw, purchase a MotopureTM H15 Bluetooth® headset in store between 1 February 2009 and midnight on 15 April 2009. You will find a unique 6 digit code on the in-box leaflet. Send an SMS text message with the word “H15” followed by your unique 6 digit code and your name (with spaces in between) to 60505 e.g. “H15 123456 NAME SURNAME”. You will then receive a confirmatory SMS to let you know your entry has been received. IMPORTANT: PLEASE RETAIN THE CONFIRMATORY SMS AND THE LEAFLET WITH THE UNIQUE CODE. You will not be charged for the SMS. Only one text entry per person and per mobile number will be entered into the competition
  3. For Northern Ireland NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. Entrants can request a leaflet in-store with a unique code and follow the same entry procedure as above.
  4. There are three first Prizes and fifteen second Prizes. The first Prizes are three pairs of return economy flights including fuel surcharges and taxes and transfers from London to Los Angeles and three nights’ 4 or 5 star hotel accommodation including meals, hospitality including VIP city tour, tickets to a soccer match featuring David Beckham’s team, a meeting with David Beckham in person for an hour and a personally signed David Beckham football shirt. Fifteen winners of second Prizes will each receive a personally signed David Beckham football shirt.
  5. The winners of the first Prizes will be responsible for all other expenses including upgrades, flight supplements, travel insurance, meals (other than those stated) and beverages, and for ensuring that they and their guest have valid passports and visas (if necessary) for travel.
  6. The closing date for entry into this Prize Draw is midnight on 15 April 2009. The winners will be picked at random on 20 April 2009 from all valid entries under the supervision of an independent observer.
  7. No responsibility is accepted for late, corrupted, or incomplete entries to this Prize Draw, which shall be disqualified at the absolute discretion of the Promoter, or for transmission and/or technical errors affecting the logging of entries to this Prize Draw. If you do not receive your confirmatory text message, please resend your entry.
  8. The winners will be notified by phone by no later than 24 April 2009. In the event a winner either does not respond within 48 hours of notification or cannot take the Prize as stated, then the Prize will be redrawn and another winner substituted.
  9. To obtain the name of the winners, please send an SAE to the Promoter's address below marked “Meet David Beckham Prize Draw” between 20 April and 30 May 2009.
  10. The winners agree to participate in post promotion publicity if required.
  11. The Prizes are as stated and are non-transferable. No cash alternatives will be offered. If any Prize or any part of it becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to replace it with one of equivalent value at its sole discretion. IN PARTICULAR PLEASE NOTE THAT the Promoter shall not be liable for any non-performance of its obligations due to the unplanned unavailability of David Beckham due to unforeseen amendments to David Beckham’s professional football fixture list, his illness or family emergency or any instance of force majeure. Except where caused by its wilful negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or delay caused by any third party or any other damage suffered by the Prize winners (or their guests) as a result of winning a Prize.
  12. Motorola reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Prize Draw or revise these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice. By continuing to take part in the Prize Draw subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
  13. Motorola reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries. To claim the Prize, the winner must produce suitable identification together with their in-box leaflet with the unique prize code used to enter and the confirmatory SMS.
  14. Winners must travel on the dates chosen for the first Prize trip, which will be in May 2009, exact dates to be confirmed. Inability to do so will result in disqualification and another winner will be drawn.
  15. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
