Please follow these steps below to download the Software Update
  You need the following USB cable type to perform the Software Update : Micro USB Data Cable. If you don't have a USB cable, you can purchase it here.
  Motorola Software Update provides the latest approved software for devices that are in warranty. Please note that your device's warranty status will be automatically verified prior to proceeding with an update.

Please also note that your device may already contain the latest software available for your product. Motorola Software Update will notify you if an update is available once you download the update application and connect your device.
